Sustainable Streetwear

All our garments are made, printed on demand and shipped though Teemill’s circular model.

Teemill built the first circular economy in fashion.

Reducing Fashion's Environmental Impact

10% of worldwide CO2 comes from clothing. 60% of clothing is made with plastic, or from it. A dump truck of textile waste is burned or put in landfill every second.

We want to be part of the solution. Designing out waste means no speculative orders which produce massive amounts of waste: 40% of our clothing is never worn.

Through sustainable t-shirt printing, and shipping direct to the customer, the money saved on surplus means Teemill have applied those resources to making organic cotton more sustainable and renewable.

We chose this production model because it allows us to avoid speculative manufacturing. Garments are only produced when they're ordered, helping reduce unnecessary waste while supporting a circular system from day one.

Our Commitments

We strive to produce responsibly, reducing and designing out waste while continually improving how our products are designed, made and returned.

We prioritise GOTS-certified organic cotton.
We design with circular return in mind.
We build for longevity over trends.
We continuously improve as better solutions emerge.

Current production model:

✓ Made to order

✓ Organic cotton

✓ Circular returns available

✓ Plastic-free packaging

✓ QR-enabled garments

GOTS Certified Organic

Our garments are printed to order, made using organic cotton and renewable energy.
Organic farming methods are better for the ecosystems around them.

Co-planting and insect traps are used along with cow manure, encouraging biodiversity.

Intelligent Production

Teemill digital printed products are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Products are tested for harmful substances.
Garments are printed on demand, reducing waste.

The cost saving enables better working conditions, and facilities.

Clean Water

Dyehouse effluent wastewater is a big chemical pollutant.

Teemill’s dyeing system recovers, cleans and recirculates water, using reverse osmosis and distillation.
Once the water has been cleaned, it is used for the next batch.

This is a closed loop system.

Circular Fashion & QR Clothing Returns

All our products come with a QR label.
Built to be recycled and remade into something new;
the material reprocessed, re-spun and made into new products through our Remill process.

Scan it and get a Freepost code (if you're in the UK) to send the item back and get store credit in return.

When you’re ready, The Canis takes them back.

Plastic-Free Packaging

All our products are shipped in rip and splash-proof mailer bags made from paper,
cardboard boxes and paper tape.

You can re-use the packaging, colour it in, and the labels are recycled.

Clothing Built To Last

All our garments have been built to endure, made to last.

We believe the most sustainable garment is the one you continue to wear. We design for longevity, care and, eventually, return.

Beyond The Garment

Sustainability isn't just about what clothing is made from.

It's also about what happens next.

Better materials.
Better production.
Longer use.
Circular return.

The Canis is our way of exploring whether storytelling can encourage people to return clothing instead of throwing it away.

We don't claim to have solved textile waste.

We're building an experiment.

Can Storytelling Change Recycling Behaviour?

We strive to produce responsibly, reducing and designing out waste while continually improving how our products are designed, made and returned.

Most sustainability initiatives focus on better materials or manufacturing.

We are also interested in what motivates people to return clothing when they're finished with it.

The Canis is our ongoing experiment.
